I watched Harry Brown last night after the horroretc praise and I'm glad I did. I had avoided the movie because it looked kind of dull, but no - it was excellent. Rather surprised to see Michael Caine involved in something so grim and nasty actually, he did splendidly though.

The Re-Animator movies are totally gold. The Orphanage was brilliant and Orphan was surprisingly good.

Great episode. Ive not listened to a few of the past shows due to the subjects (Dexter - ive missed the boat,Comics - apart from PLOPP! and 70s era Marvel BLADE ive missed out there too,Book Club) but im glad to say i really enjoyed this episode. It has given me a whole bunch of movies to watch over the Easter holidays,an empty pocket and it for the most put a smile on my face throughout whilst listening. A very entertaining 2 hours it was.
I missed out on the Doctor Who competition it appears...oh well.
On the subject of Doctor Who everybody is gearing up for Matt Smiths first episode this Saturday in the UK.I must say here in the UK Doctor Who isnt "niche" at all.If i remember correctly the xmas Tennant finale had the 3rd biggest audience draw for a tv show in 2009 and im sure Matt Smith will pull in a hefty audience share too.

Doctor Who's very popular here in the UK and i'm so glad to see it back on TV on a Saturday night we're it belongs . It's now being written and created by hardcore Who fans who have grown up with the show as kids. There's lots of love and affection being injected into the show now a days and it shows in the writing. I'm sure Matt Smith will do the role justice and bring something new and exciting and make it his own. From what i've seen,it's defiantly different. But thats the beauty of Doctor Who,every generation of kids will have their Doctor.
