At first, this may seem like a ridiculous suggestion. Further thought on the matter will only reinforce that initial conclusion. However, as a continual apologist for cheesy action films, Mr. Camille Francois Van Varenbergh (Van Damme)'s in particular, I think it would be an interesting episode to say the least. From what I can gather, Ted has seen more of his films than Anthony. This is fine, as it allows multiple perspectives on the storied action star. JCVD actually proved he has some measure of acting talent in the film JCVD. If nothing else, I emplore the both of you to check out that particular art house extravaganza! ;D Attachments:

With the recent release of Universal Soldier 3 (Regineration) the timing is perfect.

I still need to get Univesal Soldier 3....and then I will have all of his films. That is a sobering thought.

Yeah, a JCVD episode would be great!!
Personally, I've gotta go with Bloodsport, Kickboxer & Cyborg as my faves...

Hard Target was mentioned back in the human hunting episode, and I recall Timecop being mentioned in the time-traveling episode, but there is so much to get into here!

All right, I have watched Universal Soldier: Regeneration. It was gritty, extremely well shot, had a couple of really slick drawn out sequences....and strangely enough, HAD A GOOD PLOT. I cannot stress enough that this does not happen too often in the world of B-action movies. JCVD was better, but that's only because Van Damme gave the performance of *his* lifetime for that. Still, the action here was absolutely great, although Dolph Lundgren's part was short but sweet.

The funny thing is up through the mid-nineties canon, I would be prepared to do it at any time.

If you were to do an action star it would have to be Arnold. Personally I own all but one or so of his movies. I am not sure if you have done an episode on him, albeit I hear his name in a couple references here and there. Arnold is the cheesiest of the one liners in action movies in my opinion.

While I do believe an Arnold episode would be quite good, JCVD just has that B-movie quality about him. And Ted, I really do think that you should check out the movie JCVD from 2008. I liked it more than The Wrestler, and it is pretty on par with Dog Day Afternoon, the two movies it was always compared to.

Well, I haven't been on these forums for a few months, so I figure that it's about the time to resuggest this notion.
