I can't say that I disagree with you, Chuck.

Teen Wolf was one of those films aimed directly for my age group. I didn't really like it back then, even less now. I don't see what good a remake would do. Just make another movie about a kid who finds out he is werewolf or something else and come up with a new title.

I don't see any reason why someone feels the need to remake this one. Just a silly waste of time and money.

God i remember loving this movie back then. LOL The only surprise for me is that it's being remade into a TV show. What next ? ... Back to the Future the Series. Now that could be GOOD.

The fact that Teen Wolf was not a good film (let alone series), yet not a horrid premise, makes it ripe for a remake.
Will it suck? Likely yes. But most Hollywood comedies tend towards suckitude. The fact is this remake, at the moment, has a higher than normal chance of actually being better than the source material.

If they do remake the movies and want to keep true to form, does that mean that there will be another "cocky" extra in the stands at the basketball game?

I'm just waiting for the announcement that the remake will be in 3D!
