i really enjoyed the horror comic episodes. Graet stuff and really informative. I've only recently become interested in comics and i've got to say i'm hooked and with a huge list to get through now, thanks to all the great recomendation, i've got months/ years of things to look forward to. As well as the $$$ well spent.
I'm only new on the forum so i'm looking forward to getting on here and chatting with everyone.
thanks

I'm well into the walking dead collection now. Superb. Wonderful recommendation. Makes me eat my comic criticism words and I'm loving the taste of it.
The volumes I've borrowed end soon with a great clutch of issues still to be read... I think I might become an art thief...

Finished reading through the first 48 issues of The Walking Dead this week (which is the mega-volume we talked about on the show). Pretty astonishing and really impossible to comment on for fear of spoiling the events that unfold. Needless to say issue 48 represents a definitive stopping point and Kirkman proves he pulls no punches in his storytelling. No point in going on further about it as I've gushed enough but I'm still surprised at how engrossing I found it to be.

Not listened to this episode yet. Saving it for my hols. But I saw this piece on the BBC website today about the introduction of restrictions on the sale of horror comics in the UK in the 1950s and its link to an apparent urban legend in Glasgow! news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/8574484.stm
