Just curious to see if I am wasting my time more than I could be with all the linkage I post up around these parts or not... .

I'd go a little lighter on the Top X lists, but generally I find them interesting Carry on!

I hope that's got nothing to do with a recent comment of mine on here? Because no, they're not annoying.

I think they're great. My question is: how do you find them all?

They are fine in my book. I don't read many of them, but I like the fact that they are there for me to select the ones that grab my attention.

I like the links, but the sheer number of new threads can be overwhelming. I'd personally prefer a single thread each day/week, like a highlight reel of news stories, as opposed to a separate thread for every single link. But yeah, that's just personal preference, so keep on keeping on. You find a lot of neat articles.

I appreciate them, though I agree that it can sometimes be overwhelming. I generally like Top X lists, and you've dug up some good ones (even the poor lists can give good discussion).

OK, this might come across as peevish, ungrateful or downright rude. It isn’t meant to.
No problem with the links per se. You do manage to unearth some interesting stuff and I appreciate your taking the time and effort to share your findings with us. However, I think that a dedicated section for links alone might be a more suitable place for them. Can’t speak for others but I’ve now got the mindset that the discussion forum is jmodlinc’s links forum. I do accept that they could prompt discussion, I just don’t think they do so very often.
The question of where things belong is a moderator issue. In the absence of moderation, and if there’s no prospect of a links area, you might want to put a bunch of daily or weekly links into one post. Some might fit better in News.
For the record, I voted “don’t care”.

I like bmoviegeek's suggestion. I appreciate the links, but the sheer number of them can be overwhelming and I think it is for that reason that they rarely prompt any kind of in-depth discussion, something I'd like to see more of on this forum.
