Orphan and Splice are pretty good. Ghost Ship, ludicrous but never-the-less is a guilty pleasure. I never been able to sit through the remake of 13 Ghosts. Every time I've started to watch it, something requiring my attention has come up, usually within the first 10 minutes of the movie. I have seen House on Haunted Hill, but I don't remember much about it. I've heard that their version of House of Wax is one of the worst movies ever made.

I'm one of the few that dug the remake of House on Haunted Hill. It did what a remake should do; took the basic premise of the original and tell a similar (but not carbon copy) story with a modern twist. The worst was a toss up between Gothika and House of Wax (exactly what a remake SHOULDN'T be), with Gothika winning, or losing as it were, by a slim margin.

Well, Orphan was awesome. Great flick. I thought Splice was just okay. I was expecting a fantastic film but it was just so-so. House of Wax, going in expecting crap, I actually came out enjoying it ... as Tony says, for what it was. Plus, yes, everyone hates her, but Paris Hilton is still gorgeous so the eye candy didn't hurt the film. The house on haunted hill was okay, nothing great, though the atmosphere of that film was awesome and had some freaky images. Plus eye candy again (Ali Larter!) 13 Ghosts I thought was not too good.
the rest all got crap reviews so I never bothered seeing them. Yes, I check the critics out and can sour on a flick before even seeing it. My bad :-)

Orphan was shit, Ive no mre to say than that... I fuckin hated it, Im not going to spoil it but just say AAARRRGGGHHHHH didnt like it...
Im sticking by this till I find one more person who agrees with me
