Well, another horror film not screened for critics. And this one stars Daniel Craig too. What does this mean? It means it probably is not too good. (And eye candy Naomi Watts didn't help I guess).
We'll have to wait now until early next week for reviews to start popping up ... as a result, I won't see it until I see those post-release reviews.

The poster caught my eye and the director has made some great films. Unfortunately he also made a movie with 50 Cent.
I would love to see more ghost stories, particularly trippy and unconventional ones, on a larger budget, with name directors and actors. But the lack of a screening for critics and the lukewarm IMDB rating (currently 6.1) suggests this is a miss.
I'll wait and see what the good word is from the community on this one.

I have heard the word, fellow horror fans, and it's not good.
In fact, it sucks. Aside from ruining the big first act twist with the trailer, the movie runs over any common sense with a steam roller before hitting a predictable climax.
I haven't seen it, but after reading several reviews, I won't touch this one with a ten foot pole. Even if it's in a dollar bin at the local discount store.

Yeah I saw this and it was terrible. Hardly a horror movie. It tries very hard to be a mindjob but fails on every front. Daniel Craig does the best he can but the movie has no soul what so ever.

It wasn't screened for critics but it was screened for anyone who saw the trailer (which included the film itself, more or less.) Did go along wondering why that was included in the trailer but left just as confused.
