Do you think you could do Lars von Trier too? When that guy does horror, he doesn't mess around.

Do you think you could do Lars von Trier too? When that guy does horror, he doesn't mess around. He's only made one horror film (2009's "Antichrist")... .

He also did "Kingdom", a horrror miniseries. And "Melancholia" which is about the end of the world. And Dogville, which was basically a Twilight Zone episode.

Melancholia sounds like it has a lot of elements of horror, although it's probably more of abstract arthouse kind of horror, instead of traditional horror.
I've been trying to find it but our local video story doesn't have any copies for some reason.

Bit of a spoiler alert for Antichrist.
Why is 'Antichrist' horror but his other films not horror? If 'Antichrist' is horror then his other films are horror. Or if his other films are not horror then neither is 'Antichrist'.

Well if you do an Ingmar Bergman show, you should totally see Persona. I think it is one of it's best he did and also has a lot of horror elements and bizarre images that make up for a very well written and engaging story.

I'd be really interested to hear the boys' thoughts on whether Breaking the Waves is a horror film or not.
