I'm sure I heard our hosts of the podcast saying they didn't like Don't Look Now, which makes me think that they should definitely re-watch it and learn to appreciate it! They can then dedicate a podcast to it and explain that they were wrong about it in the first place!
It's a great film. Made me find Venice quite a creepy place when I went there a few years ago.

I'll admit I didn't care for that movie when I watched it. It's alright, I just felt like it was so slow paced and there wasn't much of a pay-off. The ending is completely out of nowhere thought it made the whole movie seem pointless.

I'll admit that when i first saw the film I wasn't sure if I liked it, but I think that was because it wasn't what I was expecting: I'd gone through a period of hiring all of the horror films from the local film rental place and so Don't Look Now seemed very slow. But now, after seeing it quite a few times, its the slowness of the film that I like. It builds up a very creepy and dreamlike atmosphere. And the ending kind of makes more sense if you know its coming up too!

Maybe I'll re-watch it sometime. I really liked all the visuals of them running through the city by the water at night, and was disappointed that didn't play into the finale more.
