My name is David..I'm from NYC..and I've been listening to this great podcast for 5 years now? Wow..time is flying. Will Tony and Ted be doing this for another 5 years? Really?
I'm 41 years old and genre movies are still my preferred form of escapist cinema. Listening to Horroretc has turned me on to a wealth of vintage, foreign, and contemporary films of a horrific and sometimes etceteric nature.
I watch Jaws in July of every other year, John Carpenter in the Fall (now along with The Walking Dead)...JC's Thing in the Winter (gorgeous in hi def!)...Conan & Exorcist in April...and I think whoever owns the Friday the 13 franchise should make a 13th and final film...make it look just like parts 1-4...get freaking Hodder in the make up, screw the continuity and have it take place in 1983...hire Manfredini to score it...use practical effects...and just freaking make a straight forward slasher flick with Jason for absolutely no more than $500,000. Imagine the return on that! And if they won't, then we'll do it ourselves dammit!
Hello again Horroretc! After going through yet another failed relationship with a lovely yet heartless woman, it's awesome to have some consistency in my life.
