Not the most famous genre director but certainly a unique one, and a personal favorite.
With his Basket Case Trilogy, Frankenhooker, Brain Damage and Bad Biology there's plenty to talk about.
His films always reminded me of Troma movies, with low budgets, grimy New York settings and schlocky effects/creatures.
