Hard to believe it's been 4 long years since we last talked James Bond on the podcast but the time has finally come. Now we know that not everyone is as big a fan of Bond as we are so as a fair warning to avoid our spoiler laden discussion on Skyfall the segment runs from 7:50 to 37:00 of the show. The remainder of the episode is dedicated to some recent watches including the new DC animated Batman film: The Dark Knight Returns (part 1), a return to the video nasties list (finally) with The Ghastly Ones, aka Blood Rites, and a belated discussion of the time travel thriller Looper. Truth is, we were really just looking for an excuse to share our excitement over Skyfall so please excuse the gushing. Special thanks to Justin for the Hawaiian care package we used to open up the show. As always we welcome your comments: horroretc@gmail.com Voicemail (206) 337-5324

I've been excited about Skyfall for a while. I'm planning on going to watch it this Thursday when I'm done with my tests for the week. I've been hearing that it's the "best bond ever" so I'll be interested to see if it lives up to the hype.

Loved the latest episode. And while I might disagree with your opinion of the latest Bond entry (see the Skyfall thread, if you want), I can not say how much I appreciate this podcast. Even when I disagree with some of the opinions expressed, it's refreshing to hear a couple of fellow nerds express their opinions in a calm, intellectual manner, rather than rely on a profanity laced drunken tirade. Yea, I'm a big fan of Ted's rantings, drunken or not, because you all state your opinions with an intelligence lacking in to many podcasts. That's what keeps me coming back for more. I guess, to sum it up, thanks for one of the best horror podcasts out on the web.
Oh, and Sometimes Doug is terrific as well. Keep up the great work, gentlemen, and you'll have a loyal listener in me.
