It's hard to know when would be the right time to talk about Slender Man, as he is either peaking right now or just getting started. For the uninitiated, here is his "biography" at KnowYourMeme: knowyourmeme.com/memes/slender-manor if KnowYourMeme makes your eyes hurt, here's a nice program on BBC radio: www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01nl671He's become something of an internet denizen by now, with hundreds of fan projects, all avaliable online free. These include popular web series like Marble Hornets and EverymanHYBRID at least three full length movies (for the record, only the first one is actually good) and several short films as well as a faux documentary If that wasn't enough, there's a kickass video game slendergame.com/download.php(again, free to download) and several pale copycats: www.slendermansshadow.com/haunt-the-real-slender-game.en.softonic.com/So with the sequel to the "real" video game coming out this month, and the digital release of the film "Entity" in July, 2013 might be the right time to discuss this before it fades away.

Yes! I was going to suggest an episode for at least Marble Hornetts, if you guys have seen them? Scariest stuff I have seen in a long time, or at least the earlier episodes are. Getting a bit of a tired formula now, but still has the power to creep me out and make me jump at times!

While I think the 'found footage' theme is played out in terms of actual feature releases, there's still a lot of good 'found' work being done on the amateur front, of which the whole Slender Man phenomenon is a great example.
