Greetings! Love the podcast -- it's made chores, long drives and walking the dog endlessly entertaining. Admittedly I only discovered it about five months ago. But I've been chipping away at the stockpile of back episodes with malevolent glee. My connection to our favorite genre -- outside of being a lifelong fan -- is as the producer of the FINAL DESTINATION franchise. Some may love me for this; others may want me to burn in hell for it. It's been quite a ride with that series, that's for sure. Oh, and I almost got a remake of MOTEL HELL off the ground a few years ago. Anyways, that's the scoop. Looking forward to further listening.

Welcome. And I loved the Final Destination movies, though I have a few problems with the continuity issues throughout the franchise. Still, a lot of fun.
If you want, click on my blog link at the bottom of this comment, and find reviews for 1-4. Part 5 is on the way, but I will say, the gymnastic sequence is STUNNING!
And click on How About A Movie Night, Part 2, and join in the fun!!!!

Thanks for the welcome. And thanks for the kind words re: the FD franchise. BigMac, if you only knew the challenges of putting these movies together. They're a true Chinese puzzle box -- a problem only compounded by the need for reshoots on all of the movies, especially FD4 (which I admit is a steaming pile of shit). FD5 is a much-needed return to form.
And yes, I'm very happy with the way the gymnastics sequence turned out. Interestingly, that one required ZERO reshoots!

Hey there,
Welcome to the forum. New myself. The car crash sequence in 2 ( I think 2) was spectacularly done. The tanning booth fire was also pretty bloody. Keep up the good work.

How I ended up back in here I don't know but I will say I liked how the second film tied in with the first... and that is all for now
