Is the site dead or what? I mean the podcast itself. Months and months of inactivity and not even a one-sentence explanation? I understand that there have been some major personal events in the meantime, but, after all this time, isn't complete silence on the matter a little ungracious?

I think they're just on a hiatus due to busy schedules. They'll be back we just have to be patient!

Egbert, although I thank you for your patronage, I can't say I appreciate the term "ungracious". There have been several updates from myself on Facebook, and we have just recorded a new episode which is going out today / tomorrow. That said, after 8 years and 374 FREE programs -- with unlimited access to the massive back catalog in perpetuity --- giving either Ted or myself grief for taking time to tend to personal matters and REST would seem to be an act of ingratitude. In fact, THAT'S the attitude that is going to kill the show.

Anthony,
I grant that my use of that word was itself pretty ungracious. I understand that life happens and sometimes in major ways that override less pressing, more flexible concerns. I'm riding some dire currents myself at the moment and, while perhaps that should have made me more empathetic, I fear instead that it's ground off even the meager veneer of common civility I'd hope to maintain. For that I apologize. I'd like to say I'm not a bad guy but just a frazzled one, but these days I fear I'm both. Sincere congratulations on your wedding and sincere condolences on your loss.
Kind regards, Ed Dixon ("Egbert")
